Item Description
1.75" bw with LBJ showing his appendectomy scar which is in the shape of Vietnam. Levine did a series of political cartoons for publication in "New York Review" and that copyright information appears on the curl with the most recent date of 1966. This is one of the scarcest buttons in the series. Our latest example from the Levin collection exceeded $400.00. However, this one has very faint tan stain on outer edge around 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 8 o'clock. Still displays nicely with full gloss.
