Item Description
8.5x11" stiff cardboard as assembled by the collector. First is 8.5" tall ribbon badge with "Committee" hanger. Gold text "Allentown And Lehigh County's Welcome-Reception To The Returned Sailors, Soldiers & Marines Of The World War June 25, 1919." Couple of small marks on the ribbon but mostly under the suspended celluloid which has light scattered marks on the white background. The seven buttons are all clean and NM displaying Mint. The outstanding one of these is the 1.75" reading "We're Behind The Man Behind The Gun." This is the blue rim version. See the yellow version as the next item. Another nice piece in this group is the 1.25" reading "American Chocolate Fund For U.S. Soldiers In France."
