Item Description
Lot of three promotional items for Disney's 1942 and 1945 Latin America-themed films starring Donald Duck, José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles. First is 11x17" pressbook for the original 1942 release of "Saludos Amigos." 24 pages w/contents including extensive information, advertising images, film scenes, poster ad mats, merchandise including paper mache display figures, wood-carved art, textiles and lapel pins. Pinch creases along spine w/some handling wear. Fine overall w/VF contents. Next are two items for ""The Three Caballeros." First is original 1945 release 11x14" lobby card showing Donald Duck in beach scene w/swimsuit-clad women. Card margins show moderate wear w/several pinholes as well as aging. VG. Last item is 14.25x19.25" Belgian movie poster w/great illustrations/photos w/"RKO Radio Films" logo at lower right. For 1948 Belgian release. Several horizontal and vertical fold lines, margins show wear w/pinholes at corners, .25x5" strip of brown tape at top margin and seven margin tears .5" or less w/archival tape repairs on reverse. Overall VG but if matted, main image area would display VF as all art is exceptionally bright and clean w/great color.
