Item Description
Sizes are 1.25" to 2.25". First "Snoopy For President" is among his earliest campaign buttons and from 1964. Next are a pair of litho buttons from theatrical production with title at top "'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.'" Although curl carries 1950 copyright these are really c.1967 produced for musical stage production which premiered off-Broadway in the East Village March 1967 and running through February, 1971. The second of these has pinpoint paint dot off his lip but otherwise both are Mint. The next four are all from the late 1960s and carry a copyright on the curl along with the issuer "Simon Simple Orig. Orange, N.J." First three of these have open backs while the fourth is a metal back with bar pin. Next celebrates America's 1976 Bi-Centennial. Curl names Butterfly Originals in Cherry Hill, NJ and carries UFS copyright. Last inscribed "Love" shows Snoopy and Woodstock. This is also by Butterfly Originals. The word "Love" may show a little tan tone in our photo but this was on the surface and this along with the others with one minor exception are NM displaying Mint. Numerous scarce buttons.
