Item Description
1.75" master button from the Marshall Levin Collection. Text on the button reads "The Man From T.O.M.C.A.T. Is Looking For Pussy Galore." This was the master button in the Levin Collection and he has notated the back in ink (removable) "Big Store, NYC/11-66/M" with the letter "M" indicating 1,000 produced. Levin obtained this example directly from the button maker although the button carries no maker name. The front slogan references Pussy Galore a fictional character in the James Bond movie Goldfinger and also a later film. In both cases she was played by actress Honor Blackman. The other reference is to a series of secret agent novels with nine books produced between 1967-1971 featuring the agent Tim O'Shane who is an agent for the espionage and counterespionage organization with the full name of: Tactical Operations Master Counterintelligence Assault Team. A rare button and unique example. Marshall Levin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
