Item Description
This is a three piece lot as issued as a premium c.1955 when the program began to air on CBS television with sponsorship by Curtiss Candy. The only thing missing from the set is the mailing box. Group consists of 2.25" tall silver luster star badge with the program title and the word "Deputy." Next is 3.75" stiff cardboard "Membership Identity Card." This has been filled in on both sides by the original recipient and carries serial number "B14460." Last is the adjustable band aluminum ring with the club logo on the top and with side panels accented by a long-horn steer on each side. One narrow side panel band has a very trivial indent but still displaying essentially Mint with nice silvery luster. The ID card has a couple of light creases but is clean. Rarely seen as a complete set. Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes with COA.
