Item Description
This brass ring with adjustable bands was first used by Ovaltine in 1942 for Captain Midnight. It was again issued in 1945 by Kix and was among the earliest Kix cereal Lone Ranger premiums. Sides of the rings have wing designs while top has shield, star and propeller design and this slides off to reveal tiny secret compartment underneath the ring top. Two small 1/16" tarnish dots on lower band but overall much brighter luster than nearly all examples we've seen. Exc.
