Book features bw/red story art on every page including a number of full page illustrations. Contents have aged but are clean and VF. Covers have lt. corner tip wear. VF. Missing dustjacket. Scarce. Comes w/9-5/8x12.5" hardcover American version of the same book by Grosset & Dunlap. Book features different front cover illustration and back cover illustration whereas English back cover has none. Same contents w/slightly larger size. No dust jacket. Covers shows scattered margin/corner tip wear. Fine. Frontispiece has ink inscription and pages have lt. corner tip wear. VF/Exc. Scarce.
