Item Description
First is the "Official Jimmy Allen Secret Signal" brass whistle, a scarce premium from Skelly gasoline 1936. 1.5" long made of brass with one end wrapping in a circle about 3/8" in diameter with the top surface imprinted with an aerial view of a two-motor airplane. NM luster. Second item is a rare Wheaties test premium. It is a 1-3/8" tall embossed piece of brass with a metal piece folded under the top surface and with a small hole at the center of the top surface so that it serves as a whistle. Top embossed text is "Jack Armstrong/Lieutenant/Listening Squad/JA." From 1940. Only a very limited quantity were distributed as a test premium for the cereal maker General Mills. Bright NM luster.
