Item Description
Lot of four metal figural souvenirs from the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair, each depicting the famed Trylon and Perisphere buildings. Sizes range from 4-3/8" to 5.25" tall. All were made in France and possibly sold at the French Pavilion. Items include four plated cast metal pieces w/wooden bases, one w/pen holder, one w/match holder and one w/pincushion. Other item is inkwell w/hinged lid and great Art Deco design. No inkwell insert. Scattered aging, w/some wear to "New York World's Fair" text on plaque on front of match holder base, w/some oxidation inside match holder. Inkwell has some lt. all over tarnish. Fine-VF overall.
