Item Description
Lot of 11 different World's Fair-related items, ranging in size from 2" dia. to 4.5x15.25". Items include shell wall plaque from the Florida State Exhibit, a carved and painted wood crumb tray w/matching wooden scraper blade, a wood slice plaque (complete w/tree bark) w/art depicting the Communications Building, a handled cardboard box/carrier, a Czechoslovakian-made miniature leather boot w/steel cleats, folk art glass bottle w/wooden arrow through it, a Japanese ceramic dish designed as American Indian chief, a carved wooden drawer trinket box (knob partially broken), a painted wooden yo-yo (missing most of string, easily replaced), a small Japanese ceramic pumpkin planter and a miniature wood cabin from the Illinois Building. Varying degree of aging/wear. VG-VF overall. And interesting assortment showing the variety of items offered for sale to the public at the Fair.
