Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 19.5" long working cement truck by Marx, c. late 1950s/early 1960s. Pressed steel cab/frame w/tin litho tank in middle (w/instructions for use printed on it) and hard plastic revolving cement drum, back end and separate chute that can be attached at back. Truck appears unused and comes w/separate plastic windshield (missing one attached plastic windshield wiper), pair of tin headlight frames, three small amber plastic headlights and original instruction sheet (which shows obvious wear w/tape repair to large tear). Instruction sheet is Good/VG. Truck has hand crank that can operate tumbling cement drum, which has plastic hatch that can be opened to add items to be "mixed" within. Drum can also be operated by switching crank so that drum revolves when truck is pushed forward/backward. Large "Powerhouse" decals on both cab doors, both have some scattered wear w/passenger side having slight application issue. Truck is o/w Exc. Box shows scattered wear, mainly along edges and to end flaps and is evenly aged. Fine/VF. Nicely designed toy.
