9.25x11x1-5/8" deep cardboard box w/lid having applied full color label w/images of racing locomotive and commuter train w/"Fleischmann" name. Made in US Zone Germany as marked on underside of 6" long locomotive and accompanying 4.5" long pair of train cars (one cargo car and one coal car). Box has slight age fading along edges and some corner tip wear including .5" tear and slight inward warp of box insert, but box remains tight and free of any splits. Some corner creases to lower left corner of lid label. Fine/VF. Locomotive and cars are in HO Scale and are hard plastic and tin litho. Locomotive features two switches on top, one on/off switch and one controlling forward/backward motion. 1950s. Wind-up set also comes w/aged German instruction sheet, key and six 10.5" long lengths of curved HO track. Working, NM, old store stock.
