Whitman #1489, ©1940 The Bell Syndicate, Inc. BTLB features alternating text pages and single panel pictures. Pages are aged to cream in color (slightly darker at margins) but BTLB has never been fully opened. A few tiny page tip bends as printed, o/w VF/NM. High grade example. From the Rogers M.
