Item Description
Whitman #1444, ©1938 Stephen Slesinger, Inc. Based on the radio show "The Hawk's Trail" that was based on Frank Hawks, who was known during the 1920s and 1930s as a record-breaking aviator, using a series of Texaco-sponsored aircraft. BLB features alternating text pages and single panel pictures. Pages are aged to cream in color but BLB has never been fully opened. NM. Superior, high grade example. From the Rogers M.
