Whitman #1475 ©1940 Walt Disney Productions. Art by "Mickey Mouse" comic strip artist Floyd Gottfredson reprints Aug. 10 to Oct. 29, 1936 "Mickey Mouse" daily strip, which includes the first comic strip appearance of Goofy, transformed from his former Dippy Dawg incarnation. This also features the first appearance of Donald Duck in his modern guise. The cover features a new, more modern depiction of Mickey as well, making this a fairly historic Disney book. BTLB features alternating text pages and single panel pictures. Pages are aged to cream in color (w/slightly darker toning at margins) but BTLB has never been fully opened. NM.
