Item Description
Card with original owner's ink notes from 1939. 9/16" "SHC" (Spanish Humane Committee) has threaded cap on reverse. Other two are pins 1-1/16" tall. Left reads "1936 Madrid 1939" with detailed brass hanger of bear at tree with "AMA" below. Second reads "1936 Madrid 1938" with same hanger design but done in flat brass with no details. Card back note in ink says the pins were sold in Spain to raise funds to build homes for "War Orphaned Children In Spain." Exc.
