Item Description
Pair of vintage photos, each in individual studio cardboard frame/envelope. First is 6x8" card w/3-7/8x5.5" photo in center of two women wearing fencing outfits w/hearts on chest, each holding sword in gloved hand. c. late 1800s. Exc. Superb image. Second is 5x7" thin cardboard folder that opens to reveal 3-7/8x5-7/8" full figure photo of woman in golf attire holding golf clubs. c. 1920s or earlier. Hand-lettered inked "The Golf Bug - Fore!" titles at top. Lower right has "Seavey" photographer name in ink. Folder has trace of lt. edge wear, left side of front has .5" lt. moisture mark. VF. Photo has lt. silvering around edges but blends well. Exc. appearance. Great images. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
