Pair consists of the only two BLB/BTLB titles for this character, a forerunner to the "Mary Worth" comic strip. "Apple Mary And Dennie Foil The Swindlers" Whitman #1130, ©1936 Publisher's Synicate, Inc. BLB features alternating text pages and single panel pictures. Pages are lightly aged to cream in color w/slightly darker margins. 1/16" tear to one page w/small fold at tear. Still a tight and VF example. Whitman File Copy "Apple Mary And Dennie's Lucky Apples" Whitman #1403, ©1939 Publisher's Synicate, Inc. BTLB features alternating text pages and single panel pictures.
