Item Description
7x26x9" tall illustrated cardboard box contains large 24" long battery-operated hard plastic helicopter. Remco, 1960s. Box is complete w/aged instruction sheet and original cardboard inserts and even includes original packing/inspection slip. White areas of box have lt. aging and dust soiling and end panel has original grease penciling including pricing. 1" tear to edge of lid flap. Appearance is still clean and box is tight. Fine. Helicopter has clear plastic canopy/windows and rwb stickers that read "Whirlybird Rescue Corps - U.S. Air Force." Complete w/six removable plastic rotors and designed w/cargo door on one side and motor-driven hoist. Toy works and travels forward as the blades rotate and a lever on one side is used to raise/lower hoist. Also included is sealed bag w/"Remco Whirlybird Rescue Corps" header card that contains cargo platform, 25 plastic Army men and Army vehicles. All stickers are intact. Exc., old store stock. A classic 1960s toy and as nice as they come.
