Item Description
2-5/8" dia. bronze commemorative medallion features relief portrait of Lindbergh on one side and globe design showing the route of his famous transatlantic flight from New York to Paris in 1927 on the other side. Lindbergh portrait by G. Prudhomme, whose name appears along bottom. Reverse has Latin inscription border. Edge has small stamped "Bronze" text. Two small holes have been drilled into side edge to allow for display on homemade metal stand that allows for medallion to be flipped end over end to display both sides. Medallion has even aging/patina. Fine/VF overall. Comes w/matched pair of figural "Lindy" bronze bookends w/cooper luster highlights. Engraved "Lindy" name on chest of each. Insides marked "Verona." 1927. Scattered aging/wear. VF.
