10x17x2.25" deep display box contains set by English company Peter Pan and based on "The Deputy," an American Western TV series that aired on NBC from 1959 to 1961. The series starred Henry Fonda as Chief Marshal Simon Fry and Allen Case as Deputy Clay McCord. Both are pictured in bw photos on display bkg. Set includes "Five Self Righting Targets," each 5.75" tall die-cut double-sided cardboard on rounded plastic bases. Set comes w/three safety-tipped suction cup darts (which have hardened w/age, one w/chips) Missing dart gun. Cardboard display shows heavy and obvious wear w/two 1.5" tears w/tape repairs to front edge and three smaller tears to upper securing area (two w/tape repairs). Back display has partial price sticker on Fonda's face w/wear around it. Upper right corner missing 1x1.5" triangular piece. This area has heavy creasing/tears w/tape repairs on reverse. Good/VG. Targets have some scattered creasing but are VF overall. Rare set as very little merchandise was produced for this short-lived TV series.
