Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 6.25" long plastic cap gun w/metal hammer/trigger and revolving bullet cylinder. Gray swirled plastic grips. Space under bullet cylinder (left side only) has incised "Susy" name in gold. Made in Italy by Edison Giocattoli, 1960s. There appears to have been some translation difficulties w/the name of Dan Blocker's Hoss character name as box shows bw images of Lorne Greene, Michael Landon, Pernell Roberts and Blocker along w/their characters' names, though Hoss is listed as "Orso," which translates to "Bear" in Italian. We are unsure how the "Susy" name came into play for this gun. Gun is unfired and NM. Box features two separate (but connected) lids, one opens to reveal gun while other opens to reveal second, die-cut lid that lifts to reveal card w/caps for gun. This section is marked "Super Bum" and features images of real bullets. Underside has illustrated instructions. Box shows scattered handling wear w/two .25" tears at inside edges. Displays VF overall. Scarce.
