Item Description
14x16.25x4.25" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains playset made in Spain by Comansi on baseboard that was issued during "The High Chaparral" TV show's initial run 1967-1971. Set features two wooden buildings w/litho cardboard fronts, wooden fences (w/"El Gran Chaparral" name), plastic covered wagon w/two horses, two additional horses, three plastic cacti and nine 3" tall painted plastic figures (two on horseback). Fence has "Comansi - Sheriff" plastic badge. All have been attached to fiberboard that has been covered w/litho cardboard. Playset and components show some scattered aging/dust soiling w/two horseback rider figures/horses slightly bent over. VF-Exc. Box features great illustration of the playset on main lid panel w/images of the show's characters on sides. Lid has two corner splits and scattered .5" spots of surface paper lift from tape removal. Fine.
