Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid is totally unmarked and has no text but features period Cadillac, c. 1949-1950. Box lid features different images of Cadillacs in different settings. Box is evenly aged and shows lt. wear, but remains free of splits. Fine/VF. Made in Japan, but no maker indicated and toy is not pictured in the "Big Book Of Toy Cars." Box contains 9.5" long car w/painted tin body, tin litho tail lights, Cadillac-style hood/trunk ornaments, plated trim/bumpers/hubcaps and amber jeweled headlights. Tin litho whitewalls w/rubber tires. Car features a split-window windshield, the last time Cadillac utilized this design was in 1949. Triple-split rear window. Open interior. Friction w/siren noise works well. A few small scattered paint nicks/flakes, but o/w Exc.
