Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5.5x8.25x3" tall hard plastic "Matchbox Garage" playset. Late 1950s. Box shows scattered small color rubs and some scattered age spots. Complete w/all flaps and Fine overall. Playset has sliding garage door as well as two hinged doors on back of garage building that open to allow Matchbox cars inside. Front of garage has relief details that include air pump and window marked "Cash." Top front of garage has labels reading "Washing & Greasing - Sales - Service - Matchbox Garage" w/simulated clock at top. This label has lt. trace of wear. Playset base has ramp and raised oval w/"Position For Petrol Pumps From No 1 Accessory Pack" raised text. Exc./NM. Comes w/boxed Matchbox "No 1 Accessory Pack" that includes painted die-cast "Esso" sign and trio of "Esso" gas pumps w/attached attendant figure. NM. Box shows scattered aging/wear. Fine.
