Item Description
2.5x3" long tin litho airplane clearly modeled after Blériot Aéronautique airplanes of the early 1900s. Made in Bavaria, Germany by Distler, c. 1910. Side is marked "Tip Top Series" and also has "Bavaria" name. Tin litho pilot figure in cockpit. Designed to ride up and down on string (missing and easily replaced), causing propeller to revolve as well. Scattered moderate wear, Fine overall.
