Original cardboard shipping tube, complete w/"The Lone Ranger" mailing label contains 1941 General Mills premium 7" long plastic whistle w/wooden plunger. Offered as bounce-back premium w/gardenia brooch. Missing whistle string. Lt. trace of wear from use but VF overall. Tube has expected wear from mailing as well as some aging. Fine overall. We know of about a half-dozen of these mailers in existence and this is only the fourth example we've seen. 5.5x8.5" illustrated "The Lone Ranger National Defenders Secret Portfolio" includes stories, puzzles, member certificate, available premiums, comic strip, etc. Lightly aged w/some corner creasing but still Exc. overall. As a bonus, comes w/10.25x15.25" clipped newspaper ad for this premium.
