Item Description
10.75x12.5x6.75" tall (to top of turntable) case w/8" dia. painted turntable and 8.75" long painted metal tone arm. Made in Canada by Monarch, c. 1950s. Front speaker of record player has 2.75x3.5" tall plastic relief image of "Lone Ranger" on Silver (same attachment used for Airline Lone Ranger radio, see item #2248). When record player is turned on, this lights up. Turntable is missing all of its original flocking and shows moderate scattered wear to paint. Tone arm/needle appears complete. Record player has original cord. A number of Lone Ranger turntables were produced during the 1950s, but unlike the others that featured mostly solid color cases, this model features a more detailed motif, w/slightly embossed Western images of horses and cowboys on horseback. "Lone Ranger" text on speaker cloth. Turntable works and lights. Aside from turntable wear, Fine overall.
