Item Description
First three are 3.5x5" two piece cards. Front card has oval image area to show Bryan/Stevenson recessed printed images. First with text "Eat White's Wheat Flakes" has remnants of green flocking on front. 1.5" vertical line behind Stevenson's ear. Blank reverse. Second and third have similar front format with advertising of two Cedar Rapids, Iowa businesses on back. Exc. Last three are 1908 postcards. First shows graphic with text "The Bottom Is Out Of The Full Dinner Pail." Unused. Second shows classic design of full standing figure of Bryan with text "From Lincoln To Washington." To his left is image of Abraham Lincoln and Bryan's home in Lincoln Nebraska. To his right is George Washington and the White House in Washington DC. 1908 postal cancellation. Last is illustration with text "Nebraska Cuckoo Clock/Will Run Every Four Years If Properly Wound." Cartoon of Bryan's face appears on clock face. Pencil inscription on back but no postal cancellation. All are Fine to Exc. Julie Powell Collection.
