Item Description
3.5x5.5". Seated figures of Hughes and Fairbanks with Capitol dome behind. Sunburst at top of dome reads "Preparedness-Prosperity-Protection." Lower text lists candidates of the "Grand Old Party 1856-1916" with bottom text "Help Us Make It Hughes-1916." Postally used with Lebanon Pa. Nov. 2-16 cancellation. Reverse shows trace of age. Small marks from cancellation at upper left. Few dots on Fairbanks face. We have not found this offered anywhere else. Near VF. Julie Powell Collection.
