Item Description
10.5" long painted cast-iron race car w/original rubber tires on open spoke wheels. Made by Hubley Mfg. Co. as marked on underside of car and on tires. 1930s. Racer could be used as a pull toy as evidenced by cast metal loop at front of car. Racer features 12 moving pistons in engine that go up and down as car moves. Separate painted cast-iron driver from waist up holds metal steering wheel. All original. Scattered paint wear w/slightest trace of oxidation. About 90% original paint remains. VF overall. Scarce silver/red color.
