Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 16" long (to ends of extended bumpers) tin litho car by Marx, 1936. Box shows children playing w/this car and shows it changing course several times. Directions are printed on one side panel. Box has moderate but even aging and has some penciling on one end w/2" tear at corner, though box still displays VF. Car features reversing action and when wound w/included key, travels forward until it bumps into obstruction w/rubber covered bumper and then changes direction until it backs into something, which causes car to yet again change course. This action works well. Car has some scattered minor factory paint nicks/scratches but is o/w Exc. Old store stock. Rare as boxed.
