Item Description
The Miller Brothers 101 Ranch was the birthplace of the 101 Ranch Wild West Show and The Millers made their transition from putting on local shows to the national scene in 1907, when they performed at the Jamestown Exposition in Virginia. Later that year, The Miller Brothers 101 Ranch Wild West Show began the tour circuit. Over the course of the show's history, its cast included Lillian Smith, Bill Pickett, Bessie Herberg, Bee Ho Gray, Tom Mix, Jack Hoxie, Mexican Joe, Ross Hettan, and an elderly Buffalo Bill. 13.25x16" frame contains professional custom double-mat that contain unused letterhead w/great bucking bronco image (and small good luck swastika), 2.5x4" pass w/same design from 1926 w/typed recipient name and inked signature of Show Traffic Manager F.J. Fink and strip of five unused gummed stamps showing four different "101 Ranch Cow Girl" photos as well as photo of Joe Miller, the eldest of The Miller Brothers. Letterhead has horizontal fold at center but is unused and o/w Exc. Pass has some wear w/moisture staining along bottom left. Fine. Stamps are Exc. Great display as professionally framed.
