Item Description
Large 24" long painted pressed steel airplane w/26.5" wide wingspan was made by Steelcraft, 1929. Complete w/all three original nickel-plated propellers and small red door on side, plane is all original and complete w/spring cable-operated propeller system. Spring has stretched and propellers no longer spin as toy advances. Back side has "US Mail Plane - Steelcraft" decal and tailfin has "NX131" tail number. Ends of wings have aviation star decals. These and rest of plane's paint show moderate scattered wear. Rest of decals are largely complete. Fine overall.
