9.25x12.5x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains six different painted die-cast airplanes w/metal wheels and revolving metal propellers. Tootsietoy, c. 1940. Set No. 6150 contains planes marked "U.S. Navy, United NC20100, Crusader X 110, EAL (Eastern Air Lines) NC 1011, TWA NC101Y" and "U.S. Army" in raised lettering. Box shows scattered wear w/some spots of faint moisture staining to lid and corner tip wear. Original die-cut cardboard insert shows lt. wear. Fine/VF. United plane has some paint wear to body of plane, but set is o/w NM, old store stock.
