Auction #213 - Part II
Item numbers 1063 through 2753 in auction 213
Item Description
Large and impressive 26.75" long 1930s Streamline Coupe that was all handmade from heavy gauge automotive steel. Underside has hand-lettered text reading "#593X Glendale," indicating this was produced at the Glendale, WV. plant. Metal post w/attached painted wood handle w/original "Sample - Louis Marx & Co." string tag around it. Car has scattered paint wear in the form of small paint flakes/chips. Plated grille and headlight pieces have trace oxidation. Fine overall. One-of-a-kind, never produced and likely the only example to exist as Marx did not make any car riding toys like this.
