See previous item #1541. From same publisher, c. 1960-1961. Book also features art by Vojtech Kubasta. This is flip-up storybook style, w/different pop-up for each page. Front cover has die-cut area w/pull tab that allows trunk to close, obscuring man within. Total of eight pop-ups within, second to last having die-cut areas w/foil accents for fireworks. Cover has corner tip wear and even aging. VF overall. Interior is NM. See following item #1545.
