Promotional item printed for store use only by Aurora Plastics Corp. ©1966 NPP, Inc. Sign features same art that appeared on the second issue model kit. Robin's word balloon reads, "Holy Detroit! The Batmobile Is Here!" and lists original price of 98¢. Additional small text at bottom left reads "With Chrome-Plated Parts And (Gulp!) Batman And Robin!" Sign shows moderate handling wear w/creases and some dust soiling to white margins. Most handling wear is only noticeable in reflected light, but center of sign has three vertical/diagonal creases that are more noticeable. Main image area remains totally bright and glossy. VG overall but still displays nicely. Very rare, one of just a few we have offered in our 47 years. A must for both Batman and Aurora collectors.
