Item Description
Lot of four stationery items issued by Birmingham Paper Co. Late 1930s to early 1940s. Included are 3-5/8x5.75" notepad w/illustrated "Tarzan" cover, which is moderately aged. Interior pages are unused but a few have scattered moisture staining. VG. 6.75x8.25" composition book features similar "Tarzan" cover and has over half of book filled w/child's pencil compositions, mostly poetry. Scattered aging/handling wear. Fine overall. First page has .5" corner off, but o/w pages are Fine/VF. Last two items are packaged "Note Book Filler" paper packs w/5x8" paper bands about sheets. One band features jungle animal illustrations w/inset image of Tarzan leaping from branch while other shows Tarzan attacking lion and has additional images of premiums that could be obtained w/wrappers. Scattered handling wear/aging. Fine/VF overall.
