Item Description
Lot of 13 magazines published by The Playboy Magazine for "Baltimore City, The Surrounding Counties & Seashores Of Maryland, And Delaware." Each magazine measures 5x8.5" and was published between Aug. 1963 and March 1974. Years/amount of issues is as follows - 1963, 2; 1967, 1; 1968, 4; 1969, 2; 1970, 1; 1971, 2; 1974, 1. Issues feature mostly ads w/some articles on performers. Content was heavy on restaurant/bars, burlesque performances and local entertainment events. Musicians and burlesque performers are featured heavily on covers. Of note are country musician Little Jimmy Dickens, "Pal Joey" Adams and Baltimore Colts football player Alex Hawkins. Issues have general handling wear w/color rubs and pinch creases at spine. April 25/May 1, 1968 issue has .5" corner off back cover. Fine/VF overall.
