Item Description
7-7/8x10" lobby card for original release of 1918 serial starring Elmo Lincoln as Tarzan. This is for the second Tarzan movie ever made and is "The Concluding Chapters Of 'Tarzan Of The Apes'" and is the sequel to the first Tarzan movie. Story is based on the second part of the Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Tarzan Of The Apes" novel. This film is a lost film as no prints of it are known to have survived. Card shows Lincoln as Tarzan (in regular street clothes) picking man up by his throat, caption at bottom reading "His Would-Be Murderers Had Not Heard Of Tarzan's Jungle Prowess." Two other men lay unconscious on the floor as woman cowers at left. Card has creases at corner and heavy dust soiling. VG overall. All promotional material for this lost film serial is rare.
