8x10.5" newsletter is dated May 22, 1942. Vol. 1 #29 mimeographed issue of "Receptionews" for Reception Center at Fort Bragg Army base has 10 single-sided sheets stapled at left. Front cover has full figure art by "Dave" of Superman w/soldier in work fatigues standing in front of him. Page 3 has articles titled "Superman Events" and "Superman Contest" w/list of sporting events and prize winner to be given "The Title Of Superman And Undying Fame." Issue has lt. vertical/horizontal folds as stored, front cover has aging and scattered lt. tanning. VG overall. Extremely limited distribution. Great example of Superman's popularity and the war effort.
