Item Description
7.25x8.75x1-1/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains five books issued by Cupples & Leon in 1934. Lid has one corner split and moderate dust soiling w/corner tip wear. Fine. Set of five softcover books are each 6.75x8.5" w/32 bw pages of comic strip reprints. Titles include "Little Orphan Anne, Reg'lar Fellers, Smitty, Harold Teen" and "Dick Tracy And Dick Tracy Jr. And How They Captured 'Stooge' Viller." These softcovers are abbreviated versions of the hardcover editions issued by Cupples & Leon. "Smitty" has moderate staining to front cover (that affects only cover), which is Fine. Interior pages are Exc. Rest have some trace aging but are Exc. A nice set w/wonderful specialty cover art.
