Item Description
Pair of 9.75x12.75" magazines published by Theatre Magazine Company in March and April, 1931. Each features typical Hollywood contents including reviews and advertisements for upcoming films. March issue features Evelyn Herbert art cover and full page ads for Joe E. Brown comedy "Sit Tight" and Edward G. Robinson classic gangster film "Little Caesar." Issue has spine wear and some cover edge wear but is o/w VF. April issue features Helen Hayes art cover and half page photo featuring "Mr. Ted Healy And The Vassals Known As 'Stooges'," a reference to The Three Stooges, but pictured here are the replacement Stooges Healy hired when he and the original Stooges parted ways over a contract dispute. Moderate spine wear w/splits at top/bottom and scattered edge wear. Fine overall.
