Item Description
Partial box consists of main lid panel for box that contained parts for pin-the-tail-like game that had players try to attach one of ten numbered oilcloth neckties (issued w/12, missing two) measuring 3.75" wide to wonderfully illustrated 25.25x29.5" oilcloth sheet. c. 1910. Two versions of this game were issued, one in envelope and one in box as offered here. Box is incomplete and just comes along. Main panel has some moderate handling wear but still remains nice for display. Sheet has fold creases as issued, w/some wear to printed design showing full body images of Buster Brown and Tige, Buster having word balloon that reads "Resolved! That The Prettiest Girl Is The One I Want To Pin My Tie On -- Buster Brown" while Tige says "Funny Place For A Necktie - Gee!" Fine/VF w/bold colors. Scarce.
