Box has some aging/wear but retains its shape w/just slight warping. Fine. Box has original die-cut silver color insert lid/tray that holds tea set pieces, which consists of four 3-7/8" dia. plates, four 3.25" dia. saucers, four 2-1/8" dia. teacups, 2" tall creamer, 2.5" tall sugar bowl w/lid, 3.5" tall teapot w/lid. Teapot has images of characters w/names "Betty Boop, Bimbo, Koko." Scenes on plates, saucers have matching cups. Scenes include Betty w/Koko on park bench, Betty playing tennis, Betty riding bicycle and Betty singing. Same image of Betty appears on creamer and sugar. All images of Betty show her as a blonde. Some images have lt. wear but overall VF. Each piece is marked "Made In Japan." Teapot is marked "Betty Boop - Des. & Corp. By Fleischer Studios - Made In Japan." Pearlized luster accents appear on all pieces. No chips, cracks or flakes. VF overall. Original box insert adds to make for an appealing display.
