Auction #213 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1062 in auction 213
Item Description
First is 1-5/8" tall with circle around die-cut keystone design featuring beautiful ruby red enamel around metal logo at center naming "Henry Disston & Sons/Philadelphia." Reverse repeats their name with image of a two-man saw going across the center of the design. Small bit of green surface corrosion on lower half but quite minimal. Front has no luster but clean metal and near perfect enamel with no chips. Comes with original strap. Second is silvered brass 1.75" wide. Front displays a devil using a gigantic machine which is cutting steel with the words "Red Cut" on a diagonal where a spiral of steel is swirling into the air. About 40% paint remains on the devil figure. Nice finish on the metal with extensive text on the reverse from this Pittsburgh firm including "Red Cut Superior High Speed Steel." On the first fob tiny text names maker Keil, Phila and on the second W&H.
