13" tall classic doll by Ideal Novelty & Toy Co. 1940. Movable head and upper body are composition while rest is wood-jointed. Missing original red fabric cape. Figure has had minor touch-ups to chest emblem, tip of nose and on back where cape originally was attached. Belt decal w/simulated buckle on front while back features copyright/company information shows moderate wear, about 50% remaining, Back has some scattered crazing and top of head has 1/8" flake. Wooden segments of arms and legs show paint wear. Appearance remains Fine.
