Item Description
3.5" tall with silvered brass frame which has bar pin reverse and which holds ribbon in the school colors plus pair of loops joined to a highly domed 1.75" celluloid showing the team. Celluloid is encased in silvered brass rim and reverse is flat showing the school initials within state keystone symbol with makers text below "Torcsh & Lee/Balto/Pat. Jan. 30, 1894." Couple of pinpoints of color off the ribbon but overall condition remains NM with full gloss on both sides of the celluloid. Quite possibly the earliest college football badge ever produced which includes the use of celluloid.
